Nice lil barrels to play in.
Honu's at the landing.
Sneak Peak out the tube.
ah what a day! Spent time walking the beaches asking people if I could shoot photos of them.. maybe a few interested. :) Hopefully!
How do I portray to possible customers that it could be really fun to shoot with me? My intentions are to send people back home with amazing shots/memories of a piece of their vacation to this amazing spot. How do I relay that? I'm not much of a sales person.. I need help. Man, I just wish I was better at breaking the ice. Come shoot in a waterfall with me!!!!

checkin out the surf.
this one is funny.. kinda backwards I'd say.
I thought I was supposed to be shooting into the barrel that zach is surfing?
Zach laid out the hugest spray right into my face.
It was the second time I got barreled today..
Some Honu's. Friends under the surface.
Don't hit them! They'll leave a ding or two...

From a walk I took this evening. I couldn't pass up the chance to shoot some glassy lil waves. Most of the time this spot is windblown whitewash. Not tonight.
Check this out! Maui and the Big Island! I've never seen it this clear. I didn't even know you could see the big Island from Lahaina but I guess you can. Beautiful!
Pretty cool shots of some of the whales. We came across a huge pod I think it was 8+, maybe even double that. They are everywhere here now! I look out into the bay and can see them breaching all around. It's neat watching mammals the size of school busses leap out of the water. Haven't gotten a shot of it yet, but I'm determined to before they leave.
Rainbow Blow. Rainbows everywhere in hawaii.. even the whales are into it.
Molokai in the background. Just epic.
Love the water, love the life.
From the other day checking out 'the bay'.
As usual tatum was freezing cold and I'm having my morning coffee.. Good times!
thanks porter for the photo!

Epic post from surf.sounds.collection.
Porter put this together and you can now find it on his website, http://www.susocollection.com/Maui.html.
A must see.
Well done my friend! It was great seeing you and having you stay.

It never gets old. Love it when I see them in the water.
... they remind me to be still, just how they act. It definitely helps with my breathe holds and enjoying the water. I'd call it, graceful.
Check out and follow me on Insta these days!
I held off the real world for a long time.. but now as things with photography start to pick up I think its a good idea for me to use social media once again... I share a FB page with my beautiful wife, tatum, found here http://www.facebook.com/tatum.a.harrington. And my ista name is natehphoto.
If you want check it out and as always thanks for the support and thanks for checking in,

Porter just keeps on going...
Big Rights and some nice punts.
and this isn't even half of it. :)
Just a little hot tub sesh this evening to loosen up. Photos of tatum in the pool :)
Lighting and underwater are new to me, but I can see that I am very excited to explore it more.
I have only owned a underwater housing for about a month now.. I have so much to learn. I cannot wait! Each time I get in the water my mind is racing seeing what I can do next. I think the options are pretty much limitless.

Hana, three hour drive from Kihei involved driving through the thick jungles of Maui, stopping at fruit stands, and overlooking monsterous waves. Hana welcomed us with open arms as we entered the 7 Sacred Pools. We set up camp in the most beautiful camp ground this world has to offer. Nate, Tatum, and me explored the waterfalls adjacent to the campsite, in hopes of finding unexplored areas and waves. We found just that; waves. The waves were incredible and the scenery was breathtaking. We hope to visit again soon.
