RP vs JP camp.

Last weekend Ryan Paul and Jesse Paul held a camp at Trollhaugen. This was their crew.
It was a three day camp through Summit Boardshop where you could hang out and get trick tips from a few of the Midwests best riders. The park was all time and the weather felt like April. So sick. Sunny and soft with awesome new features including a triple kink from Troll. I'll be hoping this happens again cause I had a blast.

2nd place medalist in x games real street! RP singing a girls scouts cookie box.

I think it was for Jeffy Gabrick's girl friend. That'll go on the wall.

Thanks to RP, JP, Troll, Summit, all the kids, and the troll crew who kept everything super fresh all weekend. It was tight hanging out and being apart of snowboarders giving back some time to the kidos.

Viktor Simco's 2nd annual, Ollies for Alzheimer's.

Jeffy Gabrick rocking those Ashbury's.

Jake OE's new board by Signal.
Peace!

Don and Kaitlin from FLP say what up!

Into the Ollies.
Austin Young switch ollie. (hugs and good times)

Overson ollie! I ran that board over with my car later in the day.. sorry bout that.  :/

Ollies for days!! Maybe even some fireworks?

Viktor's Ollie contest is a benefit supporting research and raising awareness for Alzheimer's.

Pretty much it's a beginning of the season comp during demo days, Wild Mountain, where all you have to be able to do to compete is krack an ollie. Highest ollie wins. Even if you don't have a 3ft vertical leap the good times, awesome crew, hot dawgs, and free swag should keep you coming back for more ollies.

Nate Brynat                     Paul Lavold                  Brian Wilson

The three highest Ollies. That's a pretty solid ollie, lift those knees.

Paul Lavold and Bobby Elmgreen.
and the winner gets a hot dog!

Viktor Simco.

..and of course Pete Harvieux.
Showing us he's more than capable of clearing the bar.

Thanks to Wild Mountain for their support and cooperation!
Of course, for making us so much snow to play with!

Thanks to everyone that came out to support Viktor!
See you next year!

FLP Shooting.

It never surprises me that no matter how many times I go shoot, every time, with every crew, there are new spots and fresh ways of doing tricks at those spots. I finally got another chance to go shoot with Vinny, Jeffy, Colin, Sam Duncan, Alek, and Brett Spur. Fun times out in the cold...

Jeffy playing with the knife I keep in my bag. So when you see this shot, know that I'm the gangster, and he's just trying to copy me.

Sam putting in his time, and Jeffy nose blocking the ledge.

Finished up and feelin good.

Vinny and Colin at the next spot. I'm.. pretty stoked on what they hit, good choices guys!

It was a... Flat drop, flat drop, flat drop, flat drop, flat drop...

And Brett warming his hands at the lights. It was another freezing cold night. The temp was reading 0 degrees with a 20-30 mph wind, biting hard. Just to make things epic, this guy in the semi-truck was baffled by what we were doing. The lady in the truck with him was so excited to take photos of what we were doing, I just though it was hilarious. He told Brett something like he had never seen people doing this where he came from.. well, judging by the accent there aren't to many snowboarders in Tennessee. Glad we could make his night. Safe travels with your woman, truckee!

I had a good time kickin it with you guys, so thanks for letting me tag along!

Crew: Colin Wilson, Dan Vincent, Jeff Gabrick, Alek Binder, Sam Duncan, and Brett Spur.

thanks for peepin.

Viktor Simco's 'Ollie's for Alzheimer's'

Viktor B. Simco! Ollie back one threw the gate.

The Ollie Crew. First Competitors for the annual "Ollie's for Alzheimer's". House of 1817 and Corduroy props!
Solid group of guys.

Today at Wild Mountain was the first ever, official, grand start, fabulous beginning of, Ollie's for Alzheimer's! Hosted by Wild Mountain and organized, designed, and thought up by, the one and only Viktor B. Simco! Today was a marker in Wild Mountain history, a small glimpse at the future of snowboarding. Today was all about Ollie's. A small ollie for mankind, a huge ollie to get over the bar! It was no small task to make it to the finals in today's comp. With a level playing field and all sorts of camber, the bar was set to a solid 4ft high ollie to take the cake.
Many tried, many tapped out. One kid that could ollie pretty good and hit that 4ft mark was Shane Ruprecht. Shane made a few switch ollie's at the 3 1/2ft mark to warm up for the solid four footer. He may have tapped, but when the snow settled, the bar stayed on the posts. Congrats to all that came out for the fun in the snow today! And congrats to the top 5 highest ollie's today!

Austin Young was out doing his best ollie's today. Clearing this 3ft mark was the pass into harder rounds, like 3 1/2, ultimately into a 4ft ollie!

Pete making this look easy and stylish! Hey kids, when you ollie make sure it looks something like this.

Setting the standard.

Shane bringing the knee's to where they need to be. Over the 4ft mark! There's no booter's in this photo, just a huge ollie!

The day ended off with Shop "star" Wars. Peter getting stylish into the bonk.

Cody Beiersdorf went down today during the last round. The word I heard was that he dislocated his shoulder. Praying for fast recovery for you buddy!

I pulled up my viewfinder to see Ethan Deiss. ...yah.

Here's the show of ollie's for today.

it was fun seeing how many times I could type, "Ollie".

enjoy!

Trollhaugen, Opener 2010.

I took a two week trip back to MN this fall to shoot a wedding for one of my friends. Turns out, I got to take some turns while I was back! My friends and I had a great weekend at Troll this last sat. Soooo epic! Some of the friends that were out.. Ethan Diess, Austin Young, Krister Ralles, Ricky Tucker, Anthony Cappeta, Zach Snow, PJ Harvey, Jeffy Gabrick, Zac Marben, Jonas Michelot and his brother Jordan Michelot! the list goes on and on.. Midwest shows up big. This is our favorite time of year. Gearing up and getting the legs loose for the season ahead.

Here's a few pics that I took the time off my board to take.. just to give you a small feel of how the day went.

A huge thanks to Troll and to all my friends!
See ya on the slopes.
