S.B.N. Issue #4.

Here it is! S.B.N. Issue #4.
Pete Harvieux lands the cover this year. Poppin smooth Ollie's durring Viktor Simco's 'Ollie's for Alzheimer's'.

This took me a while to complete.. so it feels good finally putting last season all down in one spot for people to see. There were a lot of good times and neat places to show, it was hard to cram it all in one issue.

Thanks for reading! If you could please pass this on to every midwest snowboarder you know! Lets get a few photographers together again and re-start STUCK mag! Well, it's a thought anyways.

Another Snowy Cold Day.

Zac Marben.

Sometimes.. its just better to take it easy and play in the park. We were checking out a couple really cool spots then we came across this tire swing. It caught Zac's attention, so we set it up and had a super fun sesh on it.

Zac and Krister, both are happy with shots today.

I'm always stoked to see huddles around the camera because it pretty much means something awesome just happened.

Of course Riley was playing on the swing. Larson got a first row seat to view danimals lip slide!

After the play ground we went to get a bite at Arby's... and it was nap time till the sun went down. Sam and Riley passed out.

Danimals also took a nap. He was really out.
We live interesting lives...

Last spot of the day was epic! Another heavy spot! I was able to snap a few lifestyes and stills.. but yah, we then were booted... it's getting old.

Neat spot for sure! Would love to shoot here again.

Police came and we left. All to familiar of a story this week.

Hoping once again that we can get some work done tomorrow. Who knows, might even get a second chance at the drop rail.. stay tuned.

Fresh Spot! check out.

Danimals.

Today's rail had never been hit before... now it has a few solid tricks on it. Temps have dropped back down making today the coldest it's been this late in Feb in ten years. Looks like winter is sticking around a bit longer and the ground hog was wrong.

Zac Marben

A few good slams went down today. Colby taking a nasty digger and Krister wiping the snow off from his slam into the rail.

Watching Riley film is so entertaining. His mind is running the whole time, I'll look over and he'll be brake dancing or something. Never a dull moment with this guy!

Sam snuck over to get the peeing lifestyle of Riley. I snuck a lifestyle of that lifestyle...

Zac and Colby happy about their tricks!

Group huddle around the camera and more lifestyles.

All in all, it was a pretty fun day! I'm pretty amped on the outcome, I'm sure the filmers and riders are also. We have another fun day planned out for tomorrow, stay tuned.

Thanks Guys: Riley Erickson, Sam Fenton, Zac Marben, Krister Ralles, Brandon Larson, Brandon Lepasti(also out shooting photos), and Colby.

The best of days!

"ghost"

These were from Singles day out. Brandon Larson and Krister Ralles, Sam Fenton and I put our commitment into snowboarding, not Valentines.

Austin's elbow had a run in with some nasty rocks at the bottom.

This spot was looking so perfect! I mean, best set-up we have ever done. The lighting was like day, the landing was groomed, the take off was made to be seshed hard for hours. It was on point! Two hits in and it was time to leave... that's just the way it is.

The past few days it has really warmed up and we are loosing snow fast.. I hate this time of year. It's getting time to button up the season here in MN and get going on long trips out west in search of more snow. I'm really hoping for some huge spring snow storms, keep the fingers crossed.

A great thanks to all involved the past few days! It was awesome seeing Riley again today, thanks for shooting man! Everyone else also: Brandon Lepasti for stacking more photos, Cody Beiersdorf, Austin Young, Sam Fenton, Krister Ralles, Danimals, Brandon Larson = Sickest crew. I'm letting the photos tell the stories.. time to get some rest and get back at it tomorrow.

Big post from Duluth.

Krister Ralles.

This last weekend a whole bunch of the Bald-e-gal crew was up in Duluth, MN. We did a ton of dd(Duluth driving), that's when we start by leaving the house then driving around Duluth for hours trying to find a spot. We tend to do a lot of dding in Duluth.

Krister Ralles, Brandon Larson and I got to the first spot a little early and there was jumps and jibs set up! What a find! A few hand plants and back flips went down just for my camera. I'm pretty stoked! I found out that it is really hard to shoot action photos in pitch black.. I'm sure they were feeling about the same with their riding. Worked out though.

Brandon Larson. Tuck knee backie!

We were later joined at this spot by Sam Fenton, Cody Beiersdorf, Brandon Lepasti, and then half of the town of Duluth walked by at some point loving what we were doing. Its sweet to have fans instead of getting kicked out of spots. Thanks citizens!

Sam and Brandon checking shots... hope it's a good one.

Sam Fenton. Photogenic guy.

... so is his camera.

Playing n64 into the early morning hours. Some 007 and Mario Cart went down.
Thanks to Jake Durham and crew for letting us crash at their pad! You guys have a cool spot!

We were able to play ping pong! Can't get any better than that on a trip. Ping-Pong, n64, DD, snowboarding.. dang.

Midwest Filmer's. Jake and Sam.

This was the first time I ever shot this rail. I shot its twin about five years ago. Glad to be back wayyy up north.

Jake Durham!

Duluth landscape is pretty epic at any point, day or night. It is a cold city in the winter, but we were blessed with the warmest temps I have ever shot in up there. Good to be at spots not having to dance my feet off to keep them on.

Following Theines threw Canal Park while doing some DD. Good sticker job.

I got to shoot with Mike Theines this weekend! I'm honored to shoot with the man himself!
Thanks to mike for making so much happen in the midwest every year. Thanks to all involved! Youth Shelter and all those guys.. making it all happen!

It was a great trip in the north. I think I have a few more pics to post out of the trip.. hopefully I'll get around to that tomorrow. 'Till then, goodnight and stay safe!
