These kids have to much fun. Adz punting lil airs and zack getting his feet barreled.

I'm gunna say shane cahpman? but i dunno.. He actually fits in the barrels at oak.

More adz... He's a pretty outstanding surfer. Pulls out some neat moves from time to time.

I shot these last two photos the yesterday... and there were really no waves. So this is what I shoot when I'm bored. Zach W tried a pretty sick backside reverse and almost stuck it. I was so amped to see him get a lil more progressive out there! epic.

I'm hoping to see a few of these kids put some determination into their riding and really start to kill it this summer. There is some good potential here.

Soul.

Zach W. surfing some smaller waves this past week at Oak St. There hasn't been to much swell, but he's making the most of it! Might be picking up later this week... :)

Around the studio. A lot has been happening here. We are gearing up for a super busy summer! Already it has been pretty hectic. I love it! I would love to see hundreds of kids sign up for surf camp with us.

We now have a couple mini ramps in our back yard. Once we're out of the water the choices are becoming endless. Ping pong? Skate? Bike? Surf again? Skim Board? Guitar? Dance Party? No limits to fun at the Soul Studio.

Neat things to look at daily.

Out my front door. I've had the chance to show many of my friends the studio. I wish I could show everyone. You'll all have to visit, lets go surf.

When I came back from MN this spring I found the YSS sticker on the door placed over the locks hole. I thought it was neat. Chris put it there, I guess he was missing me... :) Youth Shelter making it to Laguna Beach.

Come surf! Get on it.

Zach and Porter. pre surf on warm sunny days. Zach snapping off the lip with the flyer in the foreground, doesn't get much more epic.

Porter on his back hand. He really knows how to make the most of really quick beach breaks. I've never really seen Porter surf a long clean wave.. I wonder what it would look like. I know for sure that he has super fast waves figured out, but i think it'd be cool to see him get some big waves for a change. I bet he can destroy.

Yesterday here in Laguna was a pretty good day, awesome weather and good waves. Adam Mejia came out and surfed with the other half of the town. A bit to crowded for me to enjoy getting in the water.. but a good day to shoot some photos on the beach.

Sean Brown is always taking off in the deepest spots at Brooks, A brook st. master for sure. Look for more shots of him coming out this summer...

Chance Gaul was frothing to get some shots.. so i shot him. It looks like he's been working pretty hard at surfing. He's improved a ton since I last saw him surf.

I'm not sure who this is but i think i need to meet him. I've now seen him out front a few times body surfing on all of the best waves. He gets shacked all the time! I'm pretty jealous.

... few more random shots for the day. On the right is Sli getting a lil baby oak st barrel. These are a lot harder to come by than you might think. They are even harder to get out of.

Photo Dump.

Myself driving a pretty mint Volkswagen Bus through town... It isn't to often that I get to drive these pristine vehicles, so i really enjoy every second that I get a chance to! This one belongs to my friend Clause, I'd drive it any day for him.

I'm always texting that to my mom or yelling it around town, so it's about time it was put on a surf board also. Might also be seeing it on the bottom of mine soon... thanks Monument!

I'm Still Alive!

Brandon Phillips and I had a pretty rad surf sesh at state park last night. We were both super hungry and over burritos, so we cruised to Trader Joe's, picked up some proper grub and started cooking.

These were so good! cooked on the grill with the pollo... dood.

This is kinda what it looked like when we were all done. Pretty epic combo of food!

Fat plate of health and goodness. This plate lasted me a whole 6min! There wasn't a whole lot of talking at the dinner table last night.. other than the ooh's and aww's about how good it tasted. Cooking is fun! Eating is better!
