'04 Academy Camp

Krister Ralles, A Midwest Favorite.

Wow... This was the first time I had ever picked a camera. I thought it would be cool to use my girl friend's dad's camera and take it out to Matt Peterson's shred camp during Christmas break in '04. I didn't expect that I would learn to love it so much. I'm pretty sure that I didn't even ride at all that week, just shot.
Anyways, I was looking through some of my packed away stuff and I ran into a bag of cd's that I had forgotten about. This is one of them. Its pretty epic too! lots of amazing shredders that were big, went big, and are still big. Even those who were just an awesome influence on the rest of us.
I consider this to be the best times of shredding I ever had. Learning how to shred at Wild and meeting some of the coolest people ever, many friends that I'm still close to today.
Just AWESOME!

I remember that Jake O-E had a broken Collar Bone this week... didn't stop him much.

I kinda missed, but hey, I was new. And I actually like it this way.

Chad Otterstrom. I love this photo. Krister always told me that chad was his biggest influence. Here he watches chad get this front lip.
