Privileged to go Shoot and Surf with Chris Williams! Chris has been teaching me how to surf all summer and I've had the opportunity to get to know him. He's a rad guy! His heart beats for God's work, and is overflowing with love for helping anyone. He heads up Soul Surfing, creates surf/skate camps for youth, even if it comes out of his own pocket. As I've been able to get to know Chris more I have seen that he struggles with living a life fully dedicated to ministry, where here in Laguna it would be much easier to get a full time job that you know will pay the bills. However, after 7 years of soul surfing he is still staying strong, still inviting everyone to come along and surf, to learn about God, and living a life dedicated to faith. Pray for Chris, Pray for Soul Surfing, and pray for opportunities we have to make huge differences in kids lives through skating and surfing.

Chris is one of the better surfers I have ever seen. His smooth and precise style steps him up from most people. The photos above don't even do him justice. He encourages me to get in the water and shred with him when the conditions are really good (which is when he explodes on the waves!). One of these days I'm going to have to sit on the beach and shoot, show you what Chris can do in the pocket. Either way, enjoy!
