Brandon Phillips hooked me up with a couple disposable film cameras, the Etnies Step Up. Sadly discontinued, but once a great idea. I think, should be once again. This roll was pretty much a beach camera used in San Clemente, Dana Point, and even a few from a secret spot in Laguna Beach. 

Fun to shoot and shoot with. Even more fun to put into photo albums. I'm backing the Step Up.

Some more amazing swell in southern california.

Here is yet another day of shooting some amazing surf. 

This trip is turning out a million times better than what I had thought.. Waves are so good! 

I never thought I'd see some of these spots light up like they are now. 

Kaboom!!! hammer waves throwing down some thunder!!

Macking barrels going threw were probably close to impossible to catch.. just there for the beauty I guees! I love to see them roll through untouched, but I also like to imagine someone tucked nicely away deep under that lip... oooo weee!! I love waves! Power of the ocean.. it's incredible.

From a day of massive walls going through it was difficult to get a good corner to work with, but once in a while it worked out pretty well. 

ahh.. so tired from a day in the sun and water. 

I gotta rest up and get ready for a busy week shooting surf, skate, and maybe even snow.

Oh man..

So here we go.. another day, just doing what we do. Aaron Gomez skating so well at the new skate plaza. When all of a sudden the day takes one of those turns...

First spot of the day, 2nd ollie, Man down.

It's all part of the life we live. Most of us have been there. There is no fun spending a day in the hospital when we should all just be skating sick sots and having fun. Today was one of those days.. Aaron tore up his ankle pretty bad, but it's not broke, so maybe not to bad? I'll be praying for a super fast recovery!! It just slows us down a little, but never makes us quit.

Hope you recover fast Aaron! Can't wait to get back out there with ya buddy.

We went for a walk to shoot some photos for Tatum.. and Smalls found a pack of throwing knives.. we threw them. It was kinda schetchy looking back at it, but a lot of fun. Who leaves their knives at the top of the world?

Yesterday I was able to go shoot photos of Aaron Gomez and Jordan Small Skating. Never a dull moment. These guys kill it so hard! Here's a photo walk through of the day.

He's the Active TM. With a list of things to do he still finds time to escape pressure of team skating and do his own thing. I've always respected Gomez for his ability to skate so hard, now even more that he can put a team together and get tons of work done. Gomez is the man!

On our mission to find spots we also put this one together. A few tables to jib? I would maybe like to do a repeat on this spot...

...and to finish off the day jordan got gnarly on this lil down rail. We rolled up on this spot to check a different rail, but this one caught Jordan's eye. He went straight into the front board and got it a few try's in.

Such a fun way to spend a saturday.
